ROOTS IN SuSTAINABILITY.
At Ridge Runner Outdoors, our commitment to sustainability drives every product we create. Our tallow balm was born out of a desire to make better use of venison fat left over from hunting season. Instead of letting it go to waste, a extensive research (AKA a google search) led us to the idea of crafting a balm from rendered fat, turning a potential waste product into a high-quality, sustainable offering, (we now use lamb tallow).
Similarly, our Carnivore Fish Chews came about from finding a more efficient way to utilize fish skins after filleting. Noting that menhaden oil, derived from bunker fish, is a common ingredient in dog kibble, we saw an opportunity to repurpose the skins into a valuable, eco-friendly chew. By reimagining these byproducts, we’re reducing waste and promoting a more sustainable lifestyle for pets and their owners.
